About us: We are an online marketplace platform that connects students with the teachers so that they can avail various services, such as purchasing a book, or enrolling in a course, or scheduling in-house classes.  (“Service”). 

Acceptance: In case you are a student, parent or general visitor of the Platform, your relationship with the us shall be governed by this Disclaimer, and our Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy statement displayed on the App and Site. And in case you a Teacher, your relationship with us shall be governed by this Disclaimer, our Teacher Terms, Community Guidelines, Refund & Cancellation Policy, Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy statement displayed on the App and Site. By accessing and/or using our Platform, you accept and agree with this Disclaimer, and all our terms and conditions as applicable to you.

Disclaimer:

1. The usage of the Site, App, services of the Teachers, or quizzes is not endorsed as a substitution to the curriculum-based education provided by the educational institutions, but is intended to supplement the same. 
2. While using our platform and our services, you may encounter content, books, courses, or information or listings or images or feedback that are posted or listed by our Teachers or Students. Therefore, there is a likelihood that such content, book, course, or information or listing or image or feedback could be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, misleading, ingenuine or illegal, offensive or otherwise harmful. Academies City generally does not review these. We cannot always prevent this misuse of our Services. Therefore, you agree that we are only an intermediary platform, and are not liable or responsible for such content or information or courses or classes or conduct of teachers or students or any issues arising out of the same. 
3. Academies City provides a platform to the Teachers to sell their books and to provide their services. Academies City does not have any relationship with such Teachers. You acknowledge that Academies City does not supervise, direct, control or monitor the Teachers or the students whilst the performance of the Service, and you hereby agree that (1) Academies City is not responsible for the offering, services, courses, classes, books, notes, material, performance or underperformance or negligence of the Services, (2) Academies City is not responsible for the transaction between the Teachers and the students in any manner, (3) Academies City does not endorse any particular Teacher’s offered books or services, and (4) nothing shall create an employment, agency, or joint venture relationship between Academies City and any Teacher/student. If you are a Teacher, you represent and warrant that you have all the required degrees, qualification, experience and licenses to provide your services. 
4. We are only an intermediary platform that connects the Teachers with the students. You acknowledge and undertake that you are accessing the services on the platform and transacting at your own risk and are using your best and prudent judgment before entering into any such transactions or relying upon the representation of the Teacher in respect to their books, notes, courses or classes. We do not verify the authenticity of either the Teacher or of the Student or any information or content posted or uploaded by them. We do not verify the background or genuineness of the students, and therefore we disclaim all warranties or guarantees in this respect whatsoever. We shall neither be liable nor responsible for any actions or inactions of either the student or the Teacher, nor for any breach of conditions, representations or warranties by the student or the Teacher, and hereby expressly disclaim and any all responsibility and liability in that regard. In case of in-house classes, we cannot monitor the conduct of either the Teacher or the Student. Please note, you shall be cautious while inviting a Teacher to your home, and as a Teacher, you shall be cautious while visiting Student’s home – we disclaim all warranties or guarantees in respect of the background of either Teacher or the Student, and in respect of all risks that may be associated with such visit. Please act cautiously, and at your own risk. We shall not mediate or resolve or be a party to any dispute or disagreement between the student and the Teacher, as the case may be, except in so far stipulated in our Refund Policy. 
5. In the preparation of the quizzes and contents therein, every effort has been made to offer the most current, correct, and clearly expressed information possible. Nevertheless, inadvertent errors may occur. In particular, but without limiting anything here, Academies City disclaims any responsibility for any errors and accuracy of the information that may be contained in the quiz. Academies City also reserves the right and discretion to make any changes/corrections in the quizzes at any time without notice. Neither the Academies City nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on App or Site for any particular purpose. You acknowledge that such information and materials may contain inaccuracies or errors and we expressly exclude liability for any such inaccuracies or errors to the fullest extent permitted by law.
6. Certain contents in the Site or App may contain opinions and views. Academies City shall not be responsible for such opinions or any claims resulting from them. Further, the Academies City makes no warranties or representations whatsoever regarding the quality, content, completeness, or adequacy of such information and data.
7. The platform and all our Services are provided on an “as-is” basis, and Academies City (and our licensors and affiliates) expressly disclaims any and all warranties and conditions of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including all warranties or conditions of quality, profitability, suitability, desirability, accuracy, reliability, completeness, timeliness, performance, safety, fitness for a particular purpose, title, quiet enjoyment, accuracy, or non-infringement of the same. We make no warranty that the platform or the services or products offered by the Teachers will meet your requirements, will be available on an uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free basis, or will be accurate, reliable, free of viruses or other harmful code, complete, legal, or safe. In case, our App or Site is down, either due to planned maintenance, or due to some technical issue, we will not be liable for any associated or connected loss that you may suffer.
8. We do not implicitly or explicitly support or endorse the books, courses, materials, content or classes of any of the Teachers. At no time shall any right, title or interest in any of book, course, class or content vest with Academies City nor shall Academies City have any obligations or liabilities in this regard. 
9. You hereby waive your right to sue us for any action or inaction or negligence or wilful misconduct or violence or offence committed by the Student or Teacher, as the case may be. Your sole remedy in such cases shall always lie against such erring students or the Teachers, as the case may be.
