As a Teaching Assistant and Lab Instructor at the College of Biotechnology, I have had the privilege of combining my passion for biology and genetics with my dedication to teaching. In this role, I have made significant contributions to the academic development of students and the advancement of scientific knowledge. My key responsibilities included: Planning and conducting engaging tutorials and laboratory sessions focused on biology and genetics topics, ensuring that students gain practical experience and a deep understanding of the subject matter. Assisting students during office hours, providing guidance and support to help them grasp complex concepts and overcome challenges. Assessing and grading student assignments and lab reports, providing constructive feedback to foster their growth and improvement. Utilizing online platforms and technology to deliver interactive and effective virtual sessions and tutorials, adapting to the evolving educational landscape. Developing online quizzes and assignments that effectively evaluate students' comprehension and application of biological and genetic principles. Teaching a diverse range of courses, including Principles of Bioinformatics, Genomic Analysis, Experimental Biochemistry, Principles of Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Introduction to Biochemistry, Plant Pathology, and Molecular Biology of Biotic & Abiotic Stress.
